Meditate on the Word:
Do you ever have those days when you just feel too exhausted and unmotivated? Like you lack the strength to even get through the day? Like if one more thing happens, you will just break? I’m sure that most of us are familiar with that feeling. The hopelessness and helplessness. The dread. The fear. Sometimes these days are because of health problems. Sometimes these days indicate a need of rest. And sometimes, these indicate that we focused on things other than our Lord.
God is always willing to hear our cries. He is always willing for us to express our grief. Always willing for us to cling to Him. When we focus on things other than Him, we are often focusing on our problems. We often look for the solutions in more things, better things, or even in people. But people and things will eventually fail us. God never will. He has the strength to get us through the day, through the next hour, through the immediate crisis.
Pray the Word:
Confess the Lord alone as your rock and your salvation. Pray for strength today.
