Meditate on the Word:
One of the great desires of people is to be truly known. We want someone to love us deeply, know us well, and delight in us. We are designed to seek this out, and many spend their entire lives seeking this kind of connection in human relationships. It is interesting that we want people to know us in a way that we apparently do not even know ourselves. In a way that only God does.
The One who created us knows us better than anyone. He even knows us better than we know ourselves. We have blind spots, and things that we do not know or understand about ourselves. We often spend much time trying to understand things about ourselves. But how often do we seek out the One who truly knows us. The One who knows what we think and say before we think and say it.
