Meditate on the Word:
What a magnificent picture of the throneroom of God! It is truly an awesome thought to have people from “every nation, tribe, people, and language” gathered together in worship of the Lord our God. It will be an amazing privilege to join in this gathering. Brothers and sisters from everywhere unified in their praise of God. We will no longer be divided into artificial categories that we have created. Instead, everyone will be focused on the God who created them all.
The church today could learn a lesson from this picture. Instead of dividing ourselves in camps based on temporal and earthly things, we could unite to bring people to Christ. Instead of dividing along political lines, we could unite in worship of our Lord. Instead of making up reasons to feel superior to other Christians, we could realize that while we are unworthy, the Lamb is worthy of all glory and honor.
Pray the Word:
Ask the Lord to reveal to you the name of a fellow believer with whom you might need to reconcile. Commit to doing that.
