Meditate on the Word:
Once I was at the beach, playing in the water, directly in front of where my group was set up on the beach. In my efforts to catch waves with my boogie board, I did not notice that I was drifting. When I finally looked back to see my group, they were very far away. Guess who had moved?
It is similarly easy in life to get so busy with what is immediately around us that we forget to keep our eyes on Christ. We can easily be tossed around by the waves and move downshore without realizing it. Suddenly, we realize that we have drifted far from our Lord. Again, guess who moved?

Thank the Lord for His great gift of salvation today.
