Read the Word:
Isaiah 57:1-13
Meditate on the Word:
I have noticed a trend on social media of lost people boldly and loudly mocking people of faith. They mock God and His word, along with those who trust in Him. It appears from reading Isaiah that this is nothing new. Note how those Isaiah talks about not only mock God, but they put their time, energy, and resources into their idolatry, seeming to never tire of the emptiness of that life.
Note that God equates idolatry with adultery. Worshipping of false gods is always an affront to the One True God. It is always faithlessness to Him. And one day, those who are idolatrous, those who mock our Lord, those who do not believe will find themselves at the end of their lives facing the God they mocked.
Pray the Word:
Think of someone you know today who is mocking God and pray that they would repent.
